After running into the law during one of his drunk adventure, his mother forced him to marry Susan, a business woman or he will lose his inheritance. He met Naomi despite being engaged, who he think is perfect for him. Arthur had to made his life most important decision, love or his mother’s money.

My Thoughts
This movie’s genre were comedy and romance. However, I think it’s more of a romance than comedy. I like how the movie portray most rich kids’ lifestyle. Playboy, booze and parties. Doesn’t have much to worry nor care about the economy or work. Although I may say, not all wealthy kids have such lavish lifestyle and squander all their parents’ wealth.

I love the storyline where they showed how Arthur had changed when he met Naomi. He knew what he wanted from the start, but because of money he had to do something he didn’t want. The changes in him was heartwarming and the saddest part was when his nanny died. It brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t know I would enjoy this movie so much that I watched it more than once. Yes, you read that right!

There are much more important things than money. And this movie showed it really well. Not only it showed the good side of Arthur who slowly realized that money isn’t everthing, it also showed how vicious one can be in order to obtain wealth by marrying into a rich family. As the saying goes, money is the root of all evil.

Is this movie worth to watch? I would say yes!

My Ratings: 3.5/5
